Anyway I took a few test shots at Meg's house and here at our garden. Seems when the size setting is set to 480 x 640 they are really small photos.
Johnny Jump Ups from our garden. I tried this shot with Meg's new camera and had problems focusing.
Yuletide Camellia I planted in our yard this past fall, our very first bloom.
These are some of the hellebores from Meg's house. We did plant one of these in our garden.
Here is a camellia bud from Meg's house, the 8-10 foot tall bush has maybe 3-4 dozen buds like this right now.

My hellebores and Camellias are slow to bloom this year due to the cold weather. I only have one Camellia bloom and one hellebore bloom. Thanks for sharing the great pictures.
Gorgeous blooms. Your Spring is much farther along than ours. I still have a few patches of snow on the ground. Soon though Spring will come. I can feel the air warming! Migration has begun too.
Happy Spring!

Aren't new cameras fun? I have been enjoying my new one that I got for Christmas.
I really like the Johnny-jump-up photo, good color. Your Hellebores and Camellias look great. Oh the varieties....super!!
Dear Randy and Meg, Your hellebores look lovely. They remain one of my all time favourite flowers for this time of the year. I know practically nothing about cameras but it seems to me that your new one is working very well indeed. I do hope that you have fun with it.
I love those pansies, so jolly, a great shot! Looks like the new camera is going to give you many hours of fun.
RO :o)
Great hellebores. I'd love to continue hearing about your camera. Last year, I bought a larger (not a pocket) Canon SX10 IS that I've used since January 2009 and the Monet photos show the results the best.
Love it... but, we're back to only one carry-on bag again due to the security on airlines. I refuse to check bags when I travel, so I'm looking again at pocket size cameras that give the resolution and control that I like (former SLR user).

Those rosy Hellebores are beautiful.
It looks like your new camera takes great pictures. I love the Hellebores, and the single Camellia is really pretty too!
Great to see these flowers, Randy. Good deal on the new camera, we love the Canons too. Having a small one that fits into a pocket is just so easy as compared to the larger ones, even if they have more features. Violas and Camellias and hellebores, ahhhh. :-)

Your new camera takes great close up shots. And, your flowers are very pretty, too! :-)
Your camera takes great photos. The hellebores are beautiful, but I must confess that I am partial to Johnny Jump Ups :^)
Hi Randy (and Meg), I have really enjoyed spending time looking through your blog. You have some wonderful photos and I particularly liked seeing the beautiful birds and butterflies which you saw on your trip to Belize. I also loved the photos of the Tree Frog.
Thank you for visiting my blog and many congratulations on your recent blogiversary :)
Hi Randy, I love your last shot the best! It is always fun to try a new camera... fun and frustrating! It is great you have so much in bloom! Here there is tons of snow!;>) Carol
Will be interested to hear how you get on with the G11 as I got one as a Christmas present. Still finding my way round all the settings :)
